The Ancient East in the Scientific Heritage of Nana Khazaradze

Abstract

The article discusses the scientific heritage of Academician Nana Khazaradze and his special contribution to the study of the history of the Ancient East. The main directions of the researcher's study of the ethnic and political associations of Eastern Asia Minor, in particular, the history of the Tabals and the Musk-Mosks-Meskhs, are shown.

The article emphasizes the scientific significance of Nana Khazaradze's research for both Georgian historiography and the study of the civilizations of the Ancient East, and notes the relevance of his works in the context of understanding the challenges of the modern world.
